AYWDN donors and partners

The scope and complexity of our work cannot be tackled effectively without continually identifying and establishing partnerships to assist with effective program delivery and Network operations.

The African Youth with Disabilities Network (AYWDN) would like to acknowledge the following Organizations for their tremendous support, commitment and ongoing valuable assistance.

The Open Society Foundation (OSF)

To the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa, the Open Society Disability Rights Initiative and the Open Society Youth Initiative – we acknowledge your commitment and support  which enabled us to organize and hold key inception meetings for our Network.

The meetings provided us with an opportunity to learn about the process of establishing and managing new, regionally youth-focused Organizations for Persons with Disabilities.

The Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa, The Open Society Disability Rights Initiative and The Open Society Youth Initiative are part of The Open Society Foundation (OSF) Family which was created by Philanthropist George Soros.

The Mission of The Open Society Foundation is to build vibrant and tolerant societies whose governments are accountable and open to the participation of all people.
